What To Expect
Visiting a new church can feel intimidating, but we want you to feel at home at BCC. Whether you are just starting to ask questions or looking for a place to grow, we invite you to join our community as we aim to follow and imitate Jesus together.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10 AM. Our building is located at 1617 Michigan Avenue. You’ll find our main entrance through the double glass doors on 17th Street, with parking available in the three lots surrounding the building.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the door by a friendly face. From there, you are welcome to head to our Coffee Corner to grab a cup of coffee before getting settled in for the service.
- The Environment: Come as you are. You’ll see people dressed in everything from casual shorts and t-shirts to business casual.
- The Service: Our gatherings last about an hour. We worship through a mix of contemporary and traditional music led by a full band, followed by a message rooted in God’s story.
- Families: Everyone is welcome to be themselves here, including kids. We value having our families together in worship.
Our community life extends beyond Sunday morning, with various opportunities to connect throughout the week. During the school year, we offer discipleship classes for all ages immediately following the service. These gatherings are a primary way we meet others, ask questions, and grow in our apprenticeship with Jesus.
While you can find our sermons online, we believe the best way to experience our community is in person. We look forward to meeting you!
