What’s Happening This Week at BCC?

Exciting things are happening at BCC! Stay updated by visiting this page or reading our weekly emails. Check the latest email communication HERE. If you’re not receiving our emails and would like to, contact julie@bismarckcc.org.

We have a very special morning coming up on Sunday, May 17th. During our worship service, we’ll be hosting Discipleship Up! This is our annual moment to pause and celebrate our students as they take their next big steps—from our littlest ones heading into Kindergarten to our seniors graduating high school. We want to cheer them on as a community, so make sure you’re here to help us mark this milestone in their lives!

May 17th Congregational Meeting

Immediately following our worship service on Sunday, May 17, members of BCC will meet to vote on the proposed 2026-27 fiscal year budget and new deacons and elders for the leadership team.

  • You can find the meeting agenda HERE.

  • You can find the proposed budget HERE.

Children’s Hope Chest Jemo Carepoint

BCC will be taking a team to Jemo, Ethiopia, again this year from October 20th to 28th. Pastor Jim is hoping to take 7 people from BCC this time. You can find out more information about the trip HERE. The $500 deposit for the trip is due by May 17th to lock in your spot. Talk to Jim Ellis or Corrie Mayher for more information.

BCC sponsors 3 kids from the Jemo, Ethiopia Children’s Hope Chest project. Learn more about 2 of these children HERE.

Learn How to Apprentice Under Jesus

Throughout 2026, we are journeying together through the Practicing the Way resource as we learn what it looks like to follow Jesus as His apprentices in our daily lives. We invite you to stay after the worship service for our discipleship class as we engage with these ideas as a community. If you are unable to join us in person, you can still participate by accessing the full resource and content HERE.

Take a few minutes to complete your Spiritual Health Reflection HERE. You will need to log in or create an account first.

All women are invited to gather on Tuesdays for a time of fun, fellowship, Bible study, and other activities. Contact Kaye Otteson at 701-527-2439 for the details of each week’s gatherings.

Each Wednesday evening at 6 pm at the church, there will be a gathering of people meeting to pray together. (Enter through the north doors of the church.) Everyone is invited! If you have any needs you would like prayed for, please share them by completing this FORM.

Membership at BCC

The Leadership Team at BCC has been working over the past year to update our bylaws and clarify what it means to be a part of Bismarck Community Church. Click HERE to learn about the process the Leadership Team uses to determine membership. If you have any questions about membership or anything else related to BCC, please reach out to any of our elders, deacons, or staff members who make up the Leadership Team with any questions you may have.

At Bismarck Community Church, we meet weekly for worship on Sunday mornings at 10 am. We always hope you can join us in person, but if you miss a week, you can stay connected by watching past week’s sermons HERE or by listening to podcast versions HERE. You can also watch the live stream of our service HERE.

Bismarck Community Church supports eleven mission organizations, powered by the financial gifts of our congregation. We’re grateful to have BCC members directly involved in many of these ministries!

To stay informed and join us in prayer for these partners, check out the latest updates and specific prayer requests from our most recent Mission Team meeting minutes HERE.

Have Questions?

If you have questions about anything at all at BCC, we want to help. On Sunday mornings, you can drop by the Connect Corner and get answers to many of your questions. Our BCC Leadership Team, which is made up of elders, deacons, and church staff, is an excellent source for information. To see photos and get contact information for any of the Leadership Team members, click HERE. You can also ask anything on our online ASK FORM, and we will try our best to answer you back quickly.
