The Grand Finale of Flat Jim! 🏁
What a summer! Flat Jim has been on over 100 adventures with the BCC family, from local backyard hammocks to multi-state moves. We have loved seeing every single picture!
As a new school year begins, it’s time to bring Flat Jim home and tally up the scores. Here is what you need to know to get your household in the running for prizes:

August 23rd — Final Photo Deadline: This Sunday is the absolute last day to text or email your Flat Jim photos to Julie!

August 30th — Turn In Your Points: Total up your household points using the honor system. (If you have questions about the math, just use your best judgment!) Text or email your grand total to Julie by Sunday, August 30th.
Everyone who submits their points will get a little “honorable mention” treat, and we will be crowning our Grand Prize Winning Family at church! Thank you for staying connected with us all summer long!

Listening Meeting on August 23rd
At BCC, we deeply value community across every generation. Join us on August 23rd, right after the worship service, for a Listening Meeting as we share thoughts and perspectives on how to foster our youngest disciples and integrate our young people into all areas of worship.

BCC is sending a team to Jemo, Ethiopia, in October 2026! You can directly support the team and the work they will be doing with Children’s HopeChest by purchasing items from their fundraising site.

Children’s Hope Chest Jemo Carepoint
BCC will be taking a team of 10 people to Jemo, Ethiopia, again this year from October 20th to 28th. You can find out more information about the trip HERE. Talk to Corrie Mayher for more information.

Learn How to Apprentice Under Jesus
Throughout 2026, we are journeying together through the Practicing the Way resource as we learn what it looks like to follow Jesus as His apprentices in our daily lives. We invite you to check out the full resource and content HERE.

All women are invited to gather on Tuesdays for a time of fun, fellowship, Bible study, and other activities. Contact Kaye Otteson at 701-527-2439 for the details of each week’s gatherings.
Each Wednesday evening at 6 pm at the church, there will be a gathering of people meeting to pray together. (Enter through the north doors of the church.) Everyone is invited! If you have any needs you would like prayed for, please share them by completing this FORM.
Membership at BCC
The Leadership Team at BCC has been working over the past year to update our bylaws and clarify what it means to be a part of Bismarck Community Church. If you have any questions about membership or anything else related to BCC, please reach out to any of our elders, deacons, or staff members who make up the Leadership Team with any questions you may have.
At Bismarck Community Church, we meet weekly for worship on Sunday mornings at 10 am. We always hope you can join us in person, but if you miss a week, you can stay connected by watching past week’s sermons HERE or by listening to podcast versions HERE. You can also watch the live stream of our service HERE.
Bismarck Community Church supports eleven mission organizations, powered by the financial gifts of our congregation. We’re grateful to have BCC members directly involved in many of these ministries!
