Bismarck Community Church

Kids and Youth

At Bismarck Community Church, we believe that children and teenagers aren’t just the “future” of the church—they are a vital part of our community right now. Our philosophy is rooted in integration; rather than separating families into different wings of the building, we strive to include our youth in the full life of the church.

Worshiping Together

On Sunday mornings, you will find children of all ages worshiping alongside their parents. We value the sound of a full family in our service, and we invite our youngest children to join the worship team on stage to play instruments during our final song.

  • Nursery: A self-serve nursery is available for parents with very young children who may need a quiet space during the service. The service is streamed live into the nursery so that parents can continue to participate in worship.
  • Discipleship Classes: During the school year, we offer small, age-appropriate discipleship classes immediately following the worship service. These gatherings are a core part of our discipleship process, allowing our kids to ask questions and grow deeper in their understanding of God’s story.

Apprenticeship and Service

We encourage our middle and high school students to move beyond being “spectators” and become active participants in the mission of the church. You will find our youth serving as a central part of our Sunday mornings—leading on the worship team, managing the media booth, and serving at the coffee corner.

By serving alongside adults, our students learn what it means to be an apprentice of Jesus in a practical, hands-on way. Our youth are also a constant presence in our local service projects, living out their faith through mission in our community.

Community Building

Beyond our Sunday gatherings, we believe in creating space for families to connect and be loved by the Gospel in the context of everyday life. During the week, we often host informal gatherings in our Family Life Center where kids can play and parents can connect. These times are not about a rigid program, but about building authentic relationships and supporting one another in the journey of parenthood.

Our goal is to see our children and youth grow as faithful apprentices of Jesus, rooted in community and sent out on mission alongside the rest of the BCC family.
