Worship at McDowell Dam
Sunday July 26th Bismarck Community Church will be hosting a live outdoor worship service at McDowell Dam. We are at shelter 1. If you come to church that day, the doors will be locked. We are abandoning our building to have worship in God’s creation!
Join us, and bring a sack lunch or burgers or dogs to grill! We will celebrate and enjoy the day as a community. We hope to see you there!
Service will begin at 10 AM
We will sing, we will baptize we will share the Lord’s Supper together in community.
All of that will take about an hour or so, and then we invite you to stay.
Bring something to eat, bring something to share if you want.
But don’t count on there being food if you don’t bring some.
THE CHURCH WILL PROVIDE CHARCOAL
if you bring something to cook, you will have the heat.
There might be some left over grape juice, but we recommend you bring something to quench your thirst.
Bring chairs or blankets to sit on.
Wear something to the service that you can swim in (especially those of us in the water for baptisms).
Bring some cash and go on paddle boat rides.
Bring Fishing gear and fish. (if you’re legal in ND)
Not only are we looking forward to some baptisms and the outdoor worship service, we are also excited about being together as a community and having some fun!
All are welcome! Please join us!
