Why does a church really need a Website?
I have been redesigning the church website lately. A combination of the downtime between Christmas and New Year’s and my prior experience as a web designer are the primary culprits.
Though I have to confess that the biggest reason I decided to do that is because I care about Bismarck Community Church and I want us to grow as a church both in the people we serve and in our connection to one another. The prior experience previously mentioned has helped me to learn that a website is better able to accomplish this if it is updated regularly and helps YOU the user to connect and interact.
So, this new look will allow you to comment on things I write (a side effect being that I will actually have to write more). It will allow you to access our facebook page more easily (see the right side of this page). And hopefully you will come back more frequently to see new content!
Also, for those of you who might be reading this and do not come to BC2. I want you to know that I would love to connect with you! You can reach me by comment, you can navigate this website and get to know our church a bit better. And you can hopefully begin to feel a bit more comfortable joining us on a Sunday Morning.
I want you to know that we are real people, with real struggles, serving a real God, while from time to time probably making some real typos! And it’s all good! So get to know us a bit and join us one Sunday for worship.
As always If you have any questions or need anything at all, don’t hesitate to let me know.
