Who is the redeemer?

The only Redeemer is the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, in whom God became man and bore the penalty for sin himself.

This basic truth is the one thing that ought to drive us. Jesus Christ is the redeemer.

Honestly, everything we do ought to be about Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the one and only hope of humanity.

Jesus Christ is the one who died to rescue us.

Jesus Christ is the one who is King and Commander of our entire life and being.

Jesus Christ.

A man from a small town in a backwater part of a small tribe within the Roman Empire. This man went on to alter the course of human history. He did not teach us some new fact or doctrine, but instead he led us to God.

We often live as if he doesn’t matter. But running to the redeemer and confessing our need, our sin and our dependance and relying on his love can still change everything in our lives today.

Who is the redeemer? it isn’t me or you. It is Jesus. Confess your need for him and trust in his love for you.
