Season of Rest
This summer, we’re inviting you to slow down and embrace a season of rest. We encourage everyone to take time to recharge. While we hope to see you on Sundays, remember you can always catch our sermons on YouTube or through the podcast if you miss a week.
We will have some opportunities for gathering and connecting this summer, including a Youth Fellowship Night on June 27th (scroll down for more info) and a BCC community BBQ on July 16th. Also, there will be a variety of speakers this summer on Sunday mornings and probably a pop-up patio service on a Sunday when we can predict some great North Dakota weather. Stay tuned for more info!
Youth Fellowship Night
Calling all kids! Join us for a super fun summer gathering at BCC on June 27th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you’re ages 3 through 12th grade, come hungry for pizza and ready for a night packed with exciting games, music, and activities! And for our younger adventurers, we’ll even have a bounce house ready for endless bouncing fun! It’s going to be a blast! Check out THIS FLYER for more information. Then, RSVP the number of kids attending to Vanessa@bismarckcc.org.

Mission Updates
Each year, BCC raises funds to provide and serve a meal at the Dream Center. We recently served a meal to over 200 people in March 2025. HERE is a note of appreciation we received from The Dream Center. Check out the crew of volunteers that helped serve the meal.
Global Neighbors has some immediate needs. Read THIS letter from Co-Director, Leah Hargrove. HERE is their most recent newsletter. You can check out the most recent update from Global Neighbors in THIS VIDEO. Also, HERE is a neat story that Leah told us which highlights this organization’s work.
Young Life is a ministry that introduces young people to Jesus and helps them grow in their faith. BCC supports this ministry and wants to encourage our students to be a part of this long-standing ministry to youth in our community. If you are a middle or high school student who is interested in participating with Young Life or an adult who is interested in being a Young Life leader, you can contact Marcus Staley at marcus.s.staley@gmail.com to find out more. You can also talk to Kaye Otteson to find out more about Young Lives, a ministry to teen moms.
Heaven’s Helpers is a ministry that BCC has supported for many years through financial contributions and service opportunities. You can read their latest letter to supporters HERE. Did you know that Heaven’s Helpers operates multiple ministries? Take a look at THIS brochure to learn more about all they do.

Did You Miss the Congregational Meeting?
After the worship service on May 18th, members of BCC met to vote on the next fiscal year’s budget and elect officers for the next term. The minutes for this meeting can be viewed HERE.
Membership at BCC
The Leadership Team at BCC has been working over the past few months to update our bylaws and clarify what it means to be a part of Bismarck Community Church. On February 16th, a special meeting was held with the congregation to discuss the new bylaws and membership at BCC. If you were unable to attend, you can view the meeting minutes HERE. You can also click HERE to learn about the process the Leadership Team uses to determine membership. If you have any questions about membership or anything else related to BCC, please reach out to any of our elders, deacons, or staff members who make up the Leadership Team with any questions you may have.
Sign Up to Serve at BCC
Each week it takes over 20 volunteers to make the Sunday worship service and discipleship classes happen. No matter your age or stage, there is probably an area where you can help. If you have a desire to serve, you can see the options and sign up to serve HERE. If you have questions or want to sign up in person, see Julie at the Connect Corner after the worship service on Sundays or email her at julie@bismarckcc.org.
Sunday Morning Worship Service
At Bismarck Community Church, we meet weekly for worship on Sunday mornings at 10am. We always hope you can join us in person, but if you miss a week, you can stay connected by watching past week’s sermons HERE or by listening to podcast versions HERE. You can also watch the live stream of our service HERE or on our FACEBOOK PAGE.
Have Questions?
If you have questions about anything at all at BCC, we want to help. On Sunday mornings you can drop by the Connect Corner and get answers to many of your questions. Our BCC Leadership Team, which is made up of elders, deacons and church staff, is an excellent source for information. To see photos and get contact information for any of the Leadership Team members, click HERE. You can also ask anything on our online ASK FORM, and we will try our best to answer you back quickly.
