I hated life – Sermon Discussion

In Ecclesiastes 2 the preacher wrestles with both pleasure and wisdom and the futility of trusting in these things.

Both of these are attractive as solutions to the tension of living east of eden.  Which do you think has a stronger pull on your heart?

What mindset do we need in order to fully enjoy life without trusting in pleasure to satisfy?

Why is the “wisdom of God” better than the “wisdom of the world?”  What do we need to give up in order to pursue the wisdom of God?

Why do you think God wants us to be “wise?”
