Blanket Blessings Ministry
Blanket Blessings Ministry is an opportunity for us as a community of faith to reach out, in a tangible way, to let others know we care about them. Fleece blankets are being made for each of the children who attend Freedom Fellowship in McLaughlin. They have a great need for blankets, and no matter what the age of a child, they respond to the soft, comforting feel of a fleece blanket. Blankets will also be made and available as comfort gifts for children, within our congregation, who are hospitalized.
On February 16th five blankets were completed. They were easy to put together, took no sewing skills, and look awesome! So grab a friend and join us for the next “blanket tying” date on March 24th. Who knows, maybe you will even make a new friend there.
