An Update From Patty M.

First, I want to say a big thank you to all who continue to stay in touch and encourage me.

Just yesterday I received a text from Leo, a former student of mine from South Korea. He asked if he could meet with me. I was surprised when he brought me a cold bottle of orange juice and said; “I want to thank you for helping me apply for my next phase in training. I was accepted into a Bible school yesterday.” Leo was so excited. His face was lit up with a smile. I hadn’t realized how much pressure he felt waiting to see if he’d be accepted. It blessed me to realize how such a small act of helping someone can mean so much.

I hope to have as grateful of a heart as Leo. So grateful that I’d be willing to go out of my way to track someone down and thank them just as he did.
