The Big Event

As you can see, the big Event was quite a success this year. The marshmallow guns were a hit with little kids, big kids (our youth group kids who volunteered their time to work), and even adults who felt the need to try their hand at it.  Our children’s director Ashlee Beasley did a fantastic job organizing not only our church’s booth, but also the even itself.  Great job Ashlee!

For me, the highlight of the event was seeing our youth kids so willing to give of themselves and serve people in their community.  Sure they might not think it is the best was to spend their Saturday, but the bottom line is they did it.  They shared smiles, laughs, and fun with each and every family they came in contact with.

It is so awesome seeing God at work in our community of Bismarck.  I am so thankful for all the people that helped to make it happen and the people who attended.  I pray God may continue to work in their hearts, hopefully seeing the examples set by the people giving of their time in the name of our Lord and Savior!
