Nov 22 Daily Rhythm

Morning
Psalm 47:5-7

God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm!

Good Morning! God is the king of all the earth. Our choices are rebel or loyal subject. choose wisely today.

Afternoon
Psalm 47:8-9

God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne. The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted!

God is the king over all the earth! We see in the words above a hint of the full restoration God has planned. You know that children’s song “Father Abraham?” We see here God’s intention of bringing all nations together as one under the banner of Abraham, hoisted the last and greatest time by his ancestor and King, Jesus Christ. Think today how God has attached you to such an historic reality. Does your life mean more attached to this chain of restoration?

Evening
Psalm 48:1-3

Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! His holy mountain,
beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King. Within her citadels God has made himself known as a fortress.

Thank God that you can rest, because of HIS work alone.
