Jan 15 Daily Rhythm

Morning
Psalm 67:1-3

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!

Why should God bless us? It is important to note that the priority of the Psalmist matches the priority of God. That he be known. His people are called to make Him famous. What will you do today to make his name ring out?

Afternoon
Psalm 67:4-5

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!

The vision of the future is a vision where all peoples – the redeemed and returning nations – are coming back to their maker. This is a happy day. Pray today that nationalism will not pollute the hearts of God’s people.

Evening
Psalm 67:6-7

The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him!

A day is in view where the nations gather before their maker and rest. A day where the bounty of all the earth is laid bare before its maker. A day when the redeemed of all nations praise their hero. This is a day to hope for. This is a day that will come.
