For those of you unfamiliar with this partnership,

We are partnering with Jemo in multiple ways. First, the church at Jemo is working hard to care for 200 of the most vulnerable children in the community.  We have the opportunity to help them through monthly sponsorship. This $34/mo sponsorship funds things like education, nutrition, and health care for each sponsored child.  This unique sponsorship program is highly relational.  We are able to get to know our sponsored child/children personally!  We have the opportunity to visit the children when BCC sends teams to the site each year, and we are encouraged to write to them monthly.  As child sponsors, we can provide encouragement and hope through both financial and relational means!   To sponsor a child, click here.   We currently have 33 children in need of sponsors!

Second, we work hard to provide the ability for Jemo to develop needed infrastructure and income generating opportunities for the adults in the community.   These are very exciting projects that strive to help a community that is currently poverty stricken become a place where residents can thrive!  Since this partnership began a year and a half ago, we have been able to fund a new fence at the church which provides needed security.  We have also funded a cobblestone road, which makes travel safe during the rainy season.  Additionally, each of the children have been provided a new uniform to wear to school each day and funds have been raised to purchase supplemental food for families in need!

Third, we will send teams to check on progress, visit the children, and serve in the community each year.  Our next team heads to Jemo in May of 2014.

The way that God has blessed this project  has gone above and beyond anything we ever would have imagined!  Only though Him could any of these projects be completed.  We hope you will join us at this banquet to learn more about this partnership.  It is a night that is guaranteed to excite you and inspire you!
